Letters, notes, deeds, wills, photographs, and broadsides relating to the Hallock, Hawkins, Hedges, and Huntting families, including making Henry Hallock, son of Mary Hallock, apprentice to Sylvester Smith of Brookhaven to learn "the Art, Trade and Mystery of a Shipwright," 1838; also, genealogical notes on the Hallock family. Estate papers include announcements or accounts of sales of the estates of Charles D. Hallock, 1863; Eleazar Hawkins, 1796-1811; Merrit (or Mearrot) Hawkins, 1829; Israel Hawkins, 1834; and the will of Zophar Hawkins, 1841. Also, manuscript song "Setauket," words and music by Micah Hawkins; and copy of the 1830 journal of William Huntting, schoolteacher in Smithtown.
